The Index Journal of Greenwood has published the Period Project/GCCF check presentation photo online with the following cutline:

Greenwood County Community Foundation (GCCF) recently awarded Youth and Education funding to The Period Project for the purchase and distribution of period products to girls and young women in need through schools and charities in Greenwood. Each “period pack” contains maxi pads, liners, hygienic wipes, a menstrual calendar, and menstrual health education card. The lack of access to period products impacts school attendance, dignity, well-being, and economic mobility.
