We Supply Period Packs
We provide more than menstrual health products to those in need. We strive to restore dignity to menstruators who may be forced to choose between menstrual health and food or
utilities.
Lacking the ability to purchase menstrual health products can be debilitating because it can hinder the ability to attend work or school. For unhoused menstruators, the repercussions can go even further. Often, a unhoused individual is limited to one set of clothing. When these items become damaged and stained, it can be both embarrassing and stigmatizing. Many young menstruators are in similar situations. They are ashamed to ask and already financially-challenged family to cover additional costs and are often surprised to learn schools most often charge for menstrual health products.
What is a Period Pack?
A period pack is a small bag containing a minimum of 15 products for an individual to use during their menstrual cycle. Our products serve menstruators who are housed, unhoused or under-housed, as well as schools, shelters, essentials pantries and community relief organizations on an as-needed basis.
The Period Project has delivered over 347,000-period packs since we began our mission in 2015.
